A take on Newton’s most famous quote, this ad was meant to reveal the gravity (no stop, you’re too kind) of exposing too much of yourself online. It was inspired by not only the ubiquitousness of Facebook’s influence, but the ease with which its users can upload virtually any moment to the Web.

This poster was created for a contest called “Redesign the World,” and was sponsored by the creators of the Espresso Book Machine, a device used to print and bind books on the fly. Whether they’re published e-books or works of your own, the Espresso Book Machine lets you put the world together, just the way you like it.

Conceptualized from the ground up by me, this poster/pamphlet was designed to showcase the finality and the consequences of our inaction, while at the same time highlighting a group (the Wildlife Conservation Society) who is committed to taking action. The broken glass highlights our inability to revert the damages done by time, while the hourglass serves as a symbol for a cycle we CAN stop. A hopeful message that maintains a lot of weight.
